Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

. Perform servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and systems.

. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) with customers when required.

. Liaise directly with customers to understand their technical and service requirements.

. Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and customer training.

. Plan service and project activities and ensure tasks are completed according to agreed schedules.

. Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control system issues.

. Perform on-call and standby duties when required.

. Maintain proper service records, reports, and equipment documentation.

. Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all site safety requirements.

. Provide professional and responsive technical support to customers.

. Work independently as well as collaboratively with the service and project teams.

Requirements

. Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Higher NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

. Relevant hands-on experience in equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting is preferred.

. Experience in FPI cleaning lines, high-vacuum systems, heat treatment furnaces, CNC machines, PLC control systems, or other industrial equipment will be an advantage.

. Strong hands-on competency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

. Independent, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

. Good communication and customer service skills.

. Good teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive working attitude.

. Class 3 driving licence is preferred.

. Willing to travel to project sites and perform on-call or standby duties, including outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
