We are looking for a Senior System Control Engineer (4-8 years experience) to take a leading role in solution engineering for green vessels. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation, electrical control, and marine integration, with the ability to manage project deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead the design, development, and integration of marine electrical and automation systems.
- Prepare, review, and approve electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Develop and implement PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and control logic.
- Configure and optimize VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
- Oversee system integration, testing, and troubleshooting across project phases.
- Manage and support FAT, SAT, and vessel commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with marine class societies (DNV, ABS, BV, etc.) and safety regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training within the team.
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in system control and industrial automation.
- Proven expertise with PLC programming, motion control, and electrical system design.
- Strong project execution, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with marine or offshore electrical systems is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with marine classification and regulatory standards is a strong advantage.
