Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and results-oriented engineer to act as a key technical expert and brand ambassador. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-level advisory and hands-on services for critical flow control equipment. In this senior-level role, you will not only resolve complex technical challenges but also collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Expert Field Service & Technical Advisory: Respond to service calls for both preventive and reactive maintenance, performing expert repairs on a range of flow control products and systems. You will lead the installation and commissioning of new equipment and conduct site audits to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Commercial & Customer Support: Act as a key technical resource for the sales team, engaging in customer discussions, cost estimations, and vendor negotiations. You will also provide comprehensive training to customer personnel on equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, prepare detailed reports with recommendations, and ensure all work complies with the highest standards of safety (HSE) and quality (ISO).
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the Flow Control sector, with a strong preference for experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Deep technical knowledge of flow control and valve technology.
- Willingness to travel as required.
