Key Responsibilities:
. Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results
. Present and communicate effectively the research findings
. Assist with figures and manuscript writing for publications
. Mentor the research assistants and PhD students
. Perform and troubleshoot wet bench experiments including stem cell culture, western blotting, molecular biology, microscopy, histology, and flow cytometry
. Performbioinformatics analysis, to analyze multi-omics results (single-cell RNAseq,spatial RNA transcriptomics, spatial proteomics)
. Perform mousemyocardial infarction experiment
. Lead largepig myocardial infarction study with collaborators
Key Competencies/Requirements:
. Ph.D. or equivalent degree withstrong background and proven track record across stem cell biology, cardiology,RNA biology, therapeutics discovery, functional genomics and/or immunology withat least 2 year of work experience in a research environment.
. Goodwritten and oral communication skills
. Trackrecord of high-quality publications
. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and expertise in independent scientific research including molecular and cell biology, histology, flow cytometry and microscopy.
. Proficient with cardiac biology or immunology.
. Experience with cardiac myocardial infarction in large or small animals
. Strong interpersonal skills and a strong team player who is organized, energetic, open-minded, highly motivated, and able to multi-task and work collaboratively in a diverse team.
. Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines and meticulous.
. Required to mentor and train PhD students, interns and RAs
. Experience with scRNA seq or spatial transcriptomics will be advantages
. Experience with mRNA and LNP technology will be welcome
. RCULA certification and experience with animal studies will be required duties
