Research Assistant/Associate, Cardiometabolic Medicine

Responsibilities:

Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results

. Assist in experiments including stem cell culture, western blotting, molecular biology, microscopy, histology, flow cytometry and bioinformatics.

. Assist in large animal study and IACUC revisions

. Assist in the general upkeep of laboratory needs, maintain safety protocols, risk assessments, lab audits and management of inventories

. Perform other related duties related to the work describe herein or assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences/Life Sciences/ Data Science/Immunology with at least 2 year of work experience in a research environment.

. Good written and oral communication skills

. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and expertise in supporting various research activities including molecular and cell biology, histology, flow cytometry and microscopy.

. Experience with stem cell biology and immunology.

. Strong interpersonal skills and a strong team player who is organized, energetic, open-minded, highly motivated, and able to multi-task and work collaboratively in a diverse team.

. RCULA certification and experience with animal studies will be an advantage.
