Job Summary

Take and process diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound images while managing equipment, materials, and records to support clinical operations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in procedures and screenings, ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and process X-ray and ultrasound images accurately to support diagnostic procedures
  • Manage filing and total administration of X-ray and ultrasound equipment, materials, documents, records, premises, and incidentals
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of X-ray and ultrasound equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Coordinate with contractors for scheduled servicing and repairs of imaging equipment
  • Execute administrative tasks including reception, patient registration, appointment scheduling, record keeping, phone call management, and simple dispensing
  • Assist doctors and nurses during clinical procedures, investigations, health screenings, and medical examinations
  • Sterilize medical equipment to maintain hygiene and safety standards
  • Create and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track clinic operations and equipment usage
  • Oversee clinic housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and corporate clients by addressing their needs and following up on requests
  • Monitor and follow up on investigations, X-rays, ultrasounds, medical reports, and client requests to ensure timely completion and communication

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and possession of R1 license

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience operating X-Ray Machine, Mammogram Machine, Bone Densitometry Machine, and Ultrasound Machine
  • Relevant working experience in medical imaging environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care
  • Effective teamwork skills to collaborate with clinical staff
  • Service-oriented approach with strong listening skills
  • High attention to detail in clinical and administrative tasks
