We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our project team. The ideal candidate will manage the full spectrum of cost and contract administration for construction, ACMV, and M&E projects, ensuring value, compliance, and profitability throughout each project's lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for projects.
- Evaluate tender submissions, negotiate with subcontractors, and make recommendations for award.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, drawings, and specifications.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to monitor project cost performance and control expenses.
- Prepare cash flow projections and assist in project financial reporting.
- Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters throughout project execution.
- Lead and mentor junior QS staff to ensure quality and efficiency in work delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in construction / M&E / ACMV projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and cost control principles.
- Proficient in MS Office, or other QS software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and lead a small team effectively.
