DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Director in all matters relating to the project department
- Perform taking off and cost estimate of tender for new projects.
- Prepare tender documents, which include bills of quantities, drafting contract/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders, and awarding construction and procurement contracts.
- Assess contractors claims for progress claim, variation works, extension of time, cash flow report, final account and handling of contractual disputes.
- Attend project meetings.
- Any other duties assigned by the Director.
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Singapore.
- Motivated individual with sound knowledge in construction contract law & standard building contract forms
- Possess strong personal & negotiation skills
- Possess good analytical skills, & able to work in a dynamic & fast-paced environment to meet critical deadline
