About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across large-scale construction projects. You will play a key role in cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle - ensuring successful, on-budget project delivery.
What You'll Do
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, budgets, and tender documents.
- Lead procurement, subcontractor evaluations, and cost negotiations.
- Manage contract administration, terms, and variation orders.
- Monitor and control project costs, apply value engineering techniques, and mitigate risks.
- Conduct site measurements, prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Work closely with engineers, site managers, and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and cost efficiency.
- Provide guidance on claims management and dispute resolution.
- Deliver regular cost reports and propose cost-saving opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years QS experience in building or civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, value engineering, and cost control.
- Proficiency in QS software (CostX, Cubit, or similar) and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
