Job Summary

You will lead procurement operations by collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to source, plan, and issue purchase orders that meet project timelines and budgets. You will manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics to ensure timely delivery, contributing to the successful execution of construction EPC projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to source materials and services, plan procurement activities, and issue purchase orders that align with project requirements
  • Evaluate, select, and manage supplier and vendor performance to maintain quality and reliability of supply
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor list to ensure compliance and optimal sourcing options
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors and service providers to mitigate risks and secure favorable agreements
  • Deliver procurement solutions that meet project timelines and budget constraints
  • Monitor and close purchase orders with traceable records to ensure accountability and transparency
  • Coordinate logistics arrangements to guarantee timely delivery of goods to project sites
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and payment disputes with vendors
  • Support ISO and other audit processes by providing necessary documentation and assistance
  • Execute ad hoc project tasks and duties as assigned to support procurement and project objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Experience with MYOB software to support procurement and financial processes
  • At least 5 years of procurement experience in construction EPC projects
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and problem-solving skills applied in procurement contexts
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in managing procurement activities
