Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across procurement, logistics, and supply planning functions. This role is suited for someone who enjoys being on the ground, managing teams, improving processes, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced food production environment. You will work closely with the CEO and play a key role in strengthening our operations as the company scales. Responsibilities

Operations &People Management

  • Provide operational oversight across procurement, supply planning, and logistics functions supporting the central kitchen.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations Manager, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and production readiness.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring accountability, clear ownership, and consistent execution standards.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement practical improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team.

Procurement &Supply Oversight

  • Oversee procurement planning to ensure timely and consistent supply of raw materials, particularly perishable goods such as meat.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of pricing, quality, and delivery reliability.
  • Support supplier negotiation strategies and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and transparency in procurement processes.

Data Analysis& Reporting

  • Drive data-based decision-making using Excel / Google Sheets dashboards.
  • Analyse procurement spend, inventory trends, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports and actionable insights for CEO review.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational inefficiencies through data analysis.

SOP, Compliance& Workplace Safety

  • Establish, implement, and enforce SOPs across procurement and logistics functions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, AVS regulations, and internal operational requirements.
  • Lead Workplace Safety & Health(WSH) initiatives including risk assessments, safety procedures, and training.
  • Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO where applicable).

Facility &Equipment Management

  • Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of equipment and facilities supporting operations.
  • Coordinate servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure proper usage and safety compliance of all machines and facilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, layout, and equipment efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Report directly to CEO on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clear, structured updates and actionable insights.
  • Partner closely with Finance on cost tracking, invoicing, and supplier reconciliation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Support business growth through efficient and scalable operations planning.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing environment (FMCG / food industry preferred).
  • Strong experience managing teams across operations, logistics, and procurement functions.
  • Hands-on experience handling perishable goods (e.g., meat, fresh food supply chain) is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets with ability to perform data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in SOP development, compliance, WSH, and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with facility management and equipment handling in production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment and reporting directly to CEO.
  • Ability to lead junior team members and manage cross-functional projects.
