An integrated logistics and engineering solutions provider is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for a Senior Operations Manager position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- The role supports senior management in providing strategic leadership and guiding the overall logistics direction.
- It oversees daily operations across sea and air to ensure efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
- The position builds strong customer relationships, understands client needs, and delivers tailored logistics solutions.
- It manages supplier partnerships, negotiates rates, and monitors supplier performance to maintain competitiveness.
- The role carries financial accountability, including budget management, P&L responsibility, and profitability analysis.
- It drives process improvement by implementing new technologies, streamlining workflows, and enhancing productivity.
- The position recruits, develops, and leads a high‑performing team while fostering collaboration and innovation.
- It identifies new business opportunities, develops strategic partnerships, and contributes to market expansion.
Requirements:
- Min 7 years experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or global supply chain.
- At least 4-5 years in a leadership role leading team.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of sea, air, and land transport operations.
- Familiarity with logistics systems, reporting, and KPIs.
- Proven leadership in fast‑paced logistics environments.
- Solid understanding of Singapore Customs and international shipping procedures.
