Job Purpose
- Support the engineering/consultancy activities.
- Support the Team lead/Mechanical PE with engineering design, project management and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering duties such as design development (mainly mechanical building services), feasibility studies, engineering calculations, tender preparation/evaluations and project management.
- Liaise and attend meetings with clients, project managers, architects, contractors and authorities as required to ensure technical compliance and timely completion of projects.
- Review/develop engineering calculations and drawings.
- Conduct various mechanical system inspections.
- Assist Mechanical PE with Authority submissions.
- Work as part of an engineering team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge in the design of mechanical building services (such as ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing and Vertical Transportation systems).
- Knowledge in Singapore Standards (Code of Practice), Green Mark standards, Fire Code etc relevant to building industry.
- Professional certifications like Green Mark Manager, Singapore Certified Energy Manager, BIM Certification, Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience within an engineering, mechanical, consultancy, construction, or technical services environment.
- Experience working in a consultancy or professional services firm is highly preferred.
