In partnership with a leading maritime owner-operator, we are seeking a Senior Marine Superintendent to champion the safety and operational standards of a specialized tanker fleet. This is a vital appointment for a technical leader to ensure asset tradability and fleet-wide compliance in a competitive market.
Own the OCIMF SIRE lifecycle and maintain critical Q88/HVPQ data to meet the stringent demands of oil majors and charterers.
Direct the review and evolution of the Safety Management System (SMS) and ensure the fleet exceeds ISM, ISPS, and MLC standards.
NManage fleet navigational integrity, from validating complex passage plans to executing high-standard navigation audits.
Act as the primary technical interface for Flag State and Port State authorities, providing expert advice on shifting international maritime regulations.
Serve as a technical consultant for vessel performance queries and lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) initiatives.
Drive excellence through targeted training, competency assessments, and the enforcement of professional discipline among sea staff.
Holder of a CoC Class 1 or 2. Seagoing experience as a Master.
Minimum 2 years of shore-based HSE/Compliance experience specifically within the Product/Chemical Tanker space.
Deep knowledge of international maritime law and industry best practices.
A high-integrity leader with the ability to motivate ship-to-shore teams and manage complex projects.
