Position Summary
Oversees daily security operations, manages the security staff and ensures the protection of people, property and assets. Responsible for implementing security protocols, conducting training and serving as the primary point of contact for emergency situations.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train and schedule security personnel, both in-house and sub contracted staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide on-going coaching.
Operational Oversight:
- Monitor surveillance system(CCTV).
- Perform regular site patrols.
- Ensure all entry points are secure.
Emergency Response:
- Coordinate response to fire alarms, medical emergencies or security breaches closely with HSE dept.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services i.e., Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), Singapore Police Force (SPF), Police Coast Guard (PCG), Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA)and Maritime Port Authority (MPA) etc.
Job Requirements
- 3 -5 years experience in security role with at least 1 year in leadership role.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Strong understanding and knowledge of International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) code
- Ability to develop, implement and maintain PortFacility Security Plan (PFSP)
