Company Overview

An Offshore Company focused on the Offshore Marine industry, providing offshore support and logistics services to Oil Majors. Services include ship management, repair and maintenance, crew management, operations safety, procurement, marketing chartering, and equipment rental.

Job Summary

Responsible for controlling day-to-day operations of Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and direct daily vessel operations to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Guide vessels to meet charterers operational requirements effectively
  • Identify and recommend seafarers for deployment and promotion based on performance and operational needs
  • Assist in controlling costs and monitoring budgets to optimize operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with Company HSEMS and charterer safety and environmental requirements
  • Coordinate timely supply of stores, spares, and provisions to support vessel operations
  • Conduct vessel inspections and support internal and external audits to maintain safety and quality standards
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Manage documentation and liaise with port authorities, immigration, and customs for smooth vessel clearance
  • Maintain accurate records of navigation equipment defects and ensure timely rectification
  • Review vessel reports including arrival/departure logs, daily progress reports (DPR), and passage plans for operational accuracy
  • Monitor seafarers work/rest hours and daily work plans to ensure compliance with regulations and safety
  • Participate actively in the Emergency Response Team to support vessel and crew safety during emergencies
  • Maintain an organized filing and documentation system for operational and regulatory records
  • Promote and support a strong safety culture by reporting unsafe conditions and encouraging safe work practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Marine or Offshore field is preferred
  • Good understanding and experience with ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO14001, Class societies, Marine Operations, and oil major requirements
  • HSSE qualifications are advantageous
