Job Summary/Overview
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards manages the day-to-day delivery of the organisation's compensation and benefits programmes, including support for executive compensation processes. The role executes reward cycles, benchmarking, benefits administration, and reporting — ensuring they run accurately, on time, and in line with policy and the broader rewards strategy set by the Head of Rewards.
Purpose / Summary
This role exists to operationalise the organisation's total rewards framework across the broad-based and executive populations. It owns the execution of compensation and benefits processes, maintains pay and benefits data, runs analysis, and prepares materials that support executive reward decisions and governance.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Execute the annual compensation review cycle (salary, bonus), including data preparation, system setup, calibration support, and manager guidance.
- Support executive compensation processes, including data preparation, benchmarking against executive survey sources, and modelling of pay and incentive scenarios for review by the Head of Rewards.
- Prepare materials and analysis for remuneration committee and board submissions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Run market benchmarking submissions and analysis, mapping roles to survey data and maintaining pay range references.
- Administer benefits programmes and liaise with vendors on enrolment, claims, renewals, and day-to-day issue resolution.
- Support incentive plan administration, including short- and long-term incentive payout calculations and validation against plan rules.
- Maintain compensation and benefits data, ensuring accuracy across HRIS and producing regular reports and dashboards.
- Respond to escalated employee and manager queries on pay and benefits, applying policy consistently.
- Assist with reward governance, documentation, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or total rewards, with hands-on process delivery; exposure to executive compensation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, including scenario modelling; experience working with HRIS and compensation/benefits platforms.
- Working knowledge of relevant employment and remuneration regulations.
- Relevant certification (e.g. GRP, CCP, or equivalent) is an advantage.
