Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Tax to lead global tax planning and advisory initiatives, support the implementation of businesses tax strategies, and manage tax compliance and reporting processes. This role provides exposure to international operations, cross-border transactions, and strategic projects — ideal for a motivated tax professional ready to operate at the Group level.
You will work closely with senior tax and finance leadership, and business stakeholders across jurisdictions to ensure compliance, optimize tax efficiency, and support growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support & Tax Planning
- Support the development and implementation of global tax strategies aligned with the Group's business and operational goals.
- Assist in evaluating tax structures and providing input on cross-border planning opportunities.
- Partner with regional and local teams to identify tax optimization areas and manage risks effectively.
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of tax filings in key jurisdictions.
- Support the global tax provisioning process, including quarterly and annual reporting.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and internal control requirements.
Risk Management & Regulatory Monitoring
- Track developments in global tax regulations (e.g. OECD Pillar 2, transfer pricing) and assess potential impact.
- Support tax risk assessments and maintain documentation to support audit readiness.
- Participate in tax audits and assist with responses to tax authority inquiries.
Advisory & Projects
- Provide tax input on business initiatives, including new investments, restructurings, and intercompany transactions.
- Support tax due diligence and analysis for M&A and corporate projects.
- Liaise with external tax advisors as needed for technical reviews and benchmarking.
Process & Operational Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes and enhance use of tax technology tools.
- Contribute to the development of standardized procedures and documentation practices across regions.
- Support ongoing enhancements to tax governance and compliance frameworks.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with finance, legal, treasury, and business teams to align on tax-related matters.
- Build effective relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Help build tax awareness and knowledge-sharing across business functions.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CA, or equivalent tax professional qualifications preferred.
- 10–15 years of relevant tax experience in multinational companies and/or Big 4/advisory firms.
- Experience in cross-border structuring, international tax regulations, and corporate tax compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across regions and functions.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
