Senior/ M&E Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural and civil trades.

• Manage and control M&E subcontractors, vendors and specialists.

• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, method statements and specifications.

• Monitor daily site progress, quality and safety.

• Identify and resolve site coordination and technical issues.

• Conduct site inspections, testing and inspections with consultants and authorities.

• Review shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore codes and statutory requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA, SP Group).

• Coordinate and oversee testing, commissioning and authority approvals.

• Prepare site records, inspection checklists and progress reports.

• Manage rectification works, defects and final handover.

• Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services recognized by the PE Board.

• Minimum 5 years M&E experience in large building or infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience in large-scale projects (arena, stadium, convention centre, airport, hospital preferred).

• Strong knowledge of ACMV / HVAC systems, Electrical & ELV systems, Fire protection systems, Plumbing & drainage and BMS integration.

• Able to read and coordinate M&E shop drawings and BIM models.

• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Working Location: Will be stationed at West area and move to Bayfront site office when ready.
