The NUS High School is a specialized school offering a

seamless 6-year programme to students between the ages

of 12+ and 18 years and who have an aptitude for

Mathematics and Science. We invite suitable applicants for

the following position.

POST:

SENIOR LABORATORY SPECIALIST (CHEMISTRY)

You will be in-charge of overall management, operations and general maintenance of department work areas and facilities, including the smooth running of Chemistry laboratories and preparation of Chemistry practical. You will provide support and collaborate with members of the team/department in teaching and learning, assessment and department activities.

Requirements:

. At least a recognized University degree in a related discipline.

. Relevant experience and knowledge in the operations of Chemistry laboratories in a school or an educational setting, including risk and safety management, and financial/procurement compliance.

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including equipment maintenance.

. Committed to quality assurance - good organizational and record-keeping abilities.

. Good communication, leadership and mentorship skills are desirable.

. Adaptable, meticulous, pro-active and good team player.
