Senior Finance Manager

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the consolidation of company accounts and ensure all mandatory reporting is submitted accurately and timely and in accordance to SFRS(I)s and SGX listing requirements. He/she will also be expected to perform the full suite of accounting cycle activities for the group holding company. This role will also be responsible for group treasury functions. The candidate can also expect to be actively involved in various process improvement projects involving financial reporting and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full spectrum of group consolidation for statutory, taxation and management reporting in compliance with SGX requirements.
  • Overall, in charge of preparation and analysis of group financial and management reports, cashflow, quarterly reports, budgetary control, treasury and SGX announcements.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to eliminate any discrepancies
  • Co-ordinate and liaising with external and internal auditors for annual audit including preparation of financial statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and monitor financial performance against budget set
  • Perform cash forecast and analysis for the group.
  • Provide all relevant financial advice to operations personnel and be involved in ad-hoc financial & system projects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis/ project as required.
  • Other financial accounting tasks as prescribed by the Head of Finance.

  • Min. degree in Accountancy/Finance; CA/CPA/ACCA preferred
  • Min. 10 years handshands-onrience in preparing consolidated financial and management reports for a large group
  • Familiarity and good knowledge with SFRS, tax, and SGX listing rules and Companies Act
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines At least 5 years of relevant working experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, reporting and financial analysis tools.

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications (CA/CPA)

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge under Singapore GAAP and IFRS
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and other reporting software,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues/ get things done in a chaotic and culturally diverse environment
