About the Client

Our client is a reputable Investment Bank with active businesses across global equities, fixed income, derivatives trading, and wealth management. As part of their continued growth in the region, they are seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to join the regional finance team. This role offers strong exposure to regulatory reporting, capital adequacy monitoring, and multi-entity financial oversight within a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full financial accounting and month-end close for the Singapore trading entity, ensuring integrity of trade-to-ledger interfaces, reconciliations, and robust balance sheet governance across equities, fixed income and derivatives.
  • Drive daily monitoring of MAS risk-based capital adequacy requirements and oversee timely, accurate regulatory submissions.
  • Act as a key finance partner to local, regional and head office stakeholders, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and alignment across jurisdictions.
  • Strengthen internal controls, governance standards and operating processes to enhance compliance, scalability and risk management across Singapore-managed entities.
  • Lead statutory reporting, audit and tax coordination, while contributing to finance transformation and strategic projects to support evolving regulatory and business demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related discipline; CPA qualified or progressing towards qualification
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within regional or international financial institutions
  • Solid hands-on experience with Singapore regulatory capital adequacy calculations under a CMS or Banking licence framework
  • Strong product exposure across cash equities, equity-linked products, listed futures and options, swaps, fixed income and FX preferred
  • Analytical, commercially minded and able to operate independently while driving process improvements
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience managing financial and statutory audits
