Our client is a rapidly growing company in Real Estate development, investment. The Group holds diverse portfolio of assets across the global market and they are looking for a unique individual to join their growing business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidated accounts, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Prepare statutory financial statements, accounting papers, and public disclosures in compliance with SGX and MAS regulations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, providing insights on portfolio and REIT-level performance.
- Conduct financial analysis of revenue, expenses, cash flows, capital expenditure, and asset performance to support strategic decisions.
- Manage tax compliance (corporate tax, GST) and regulatory requirements, including Interested Party Transactions and trustee obligations.
- Advise on treasury, cash flow, working capital, and debt financing to ensure optimal liquidity and capital management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, operations, and shared services, to enhance financial performance.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and accounting processes while driving process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
- Lead and mentor finance teams, presenting financial insights to senior leadership, trustees, lenders, and other stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) preferred. Master's degree (MBA, MFin) is advantageous.
- 810 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with significant exposure to REITs or real estate investment/management.
- Strong knowledge of REIT regulatory frameworks, SGX listing rules, and MAS guidelines.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, FP&A, tax compliance, and advanced financial modelling using Excel and financial systems.
- Experience collaborating with trustees, lenders, and cross-functional teams, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication skills and ability to operate under tight deadlines.
- Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for Finance Manager.
