Senior Executive, Wellbeing Capability Development
NTU's University Wellbeing Office (UWO) supports the University's commitment as a Health Promoting University under the Okanagan Charter. We work to embed wellbeing into everyday leadership practices, team norms, and workplace systems across the University.
The Senior Executive, Wellbeing Capability Development plays a key role in strengthening individual and organisational capability to support sustainable wellbeing. This role focuses on supporting the design and implementation of structured wellbeing learning initiatives, enabling leaders and units to translate wellbeing principles into practical team practices, and supporting the continuous improvement of capability-based interventions across NTU's diverse academic and administrative units.
Key Responsibilities:
Wellbeing Learning & Skills Development
Support the design, coordination, and implementation of structured wellbeing capability programmes (e.g., workshops, toolkits, learning pathways) for employees.
Curate practical resources to strengthen wellbeing literacy and applied skills across diverse staff groups.
Standardise learning materials and review session feedback to ensure consistent quality and alignment with NTU's wellbeing framework
Leader & Unit Enablement
Support leaders and units in translating wellbeing principles into actionable team practices.
Facilitate follow-up action planning sessions linked to wellbeing survey results or identified unit needs.
Develop practical implementation guides and resources to enable unit-level adoption of wellbeing practices.
Capability Evaluation & Culture Strengthening
Support administration and collection of wellbeing survey data across units.
Monitor participation and support analysis of survey and feedback data to inform programme improvements.
Support units in embedding agreed wellbeing actions into existing team processes and routines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, or related disciplines.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in tertiary education sector, organisational development, learning & development, programme coordination, or related fields. Candidates with lesser years of experience or entry-level candidates will be considered for appointment as Senior Executive.
Experience engaging stakeholders across multiple units or departments.
Excellent team player with strong organisational, coordination and communication skills.
Ability to translate wellbeing concepts into practical workplace applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, technological tools and information systems relevant in a university landscape.
Familiarity with data collection, tracking and management and knowledge of basic programme evaluation approaches and tools.
