Reporting to: Manager, Sales & Marketing (H&B, B2B)
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Executive, Sales & Operations (H&B, B2B) plays a key role in supporting the development of effective sales, marketing and operational strategies associated with the H&B and B2B sales channels. This role also includes evaluating the business performance, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement business plans.This includes but are not limited to:
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- To identify new market opportunities, by networking with distributors, chain stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
- To work closely with distributor to monitor brand activity and sales turnover for portfolio of brands managed by the team.
- Manage customers inquiries and business requirements with regular follow-ups to build rapport.
- Attend to all trade and consumer enquiries efficiently and appropriately.
- Ensure timely AR collection.
OPERATIONS
- Managing sales orders for H&B/B2B business.
- Co-ordinate customers purchase orders and track shipments.
- Support the planning and execution of new brand/product launches and promotional activities.
- Timely reporting and analysis of sales performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Assist in the management of e-commerce and social media platforms of managed brands.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Manager.
MARKETING & COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
- Research and monitor industry trends, competitors activities, market conditions, and initiate appropriate plans.
- Provide actionable insights to inform business strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Develop marketing & promotion plans and manage new brand/product launches in respective customers channel.
- Report and analyse sales performance and effectiveness of marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Additional certification/training in cosmetics, beauty retail, or skincare science is an advantage.
- 36 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.
- Proven track record of managing sales and operations of modern trade, e-commerce, or retail beauty accounts (e.g., Sephora, Watsons, Guardian, online marketplaces, salons, spas).
- Experience in the FMCG, cosmetics, skincare, or personal care industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, pro-active attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience in launching new products, brand activation, or retail campaigns in beauty is an advantage.
