Roles and Responsibilities
- Arrange and execute vessel and container financing based on corporate finance (not on asset finance or nonrecourse finance).
- Update funding needs for future growth and proactively consult with internal stakeholders.
- Plan financing structures for vessels, containers, and other funding needs, aligning with the long-term financial strategy.
- Negotiate and scrutinize documentation with financial institutions in line with company policy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality presentation materials, ensuring full accountability to both internal management and external partners.
- Support initiatives to strengthen enterprise value from a financial viewpoint.
- Purchase compliance carbon credits, arrange interest rate swaps, and maintain the finance and treasury center incentive granted by the Singaporean government entity.
- Support in any tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Maritime or related Business Discipline
- At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a corporate treasury or banks
- Experience in managing financing activities at a non-financial company
- Basic accounting knowledge such as posting of journal entry and analyzing financial statement
- Strong reading comprehension of facility agreements
- Proficiency in written and verbal business communication skills in both English and Korean
- A minimum of Korean TOPIK II (level 3 or 4) is required for strong communication with Korean banks
- Hands on ERP(SAP) experience is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in the Shipping Industry would be an advantage
