We are seeking a resourceful and motivated procurement Buyer to enable the various business units across RWS by securing the right technology solutions, services and partnerships that support the company's goals. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen with technology insight, leveraging market knowledge and intelligence, and supplier relationships to unlock business opportunities, mitigate risk and enable digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead end-to-end procurement (RFI/RFQ/RFP) for technology solutions and services, including sourcing, negotiation, commercial analysis and award recommendations
- Negotiate commercial terms to ensure value-for-money and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and processes
2. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs
- Support cross-functional initiatives such as benchmarking, market intelligence, and Centre of Excellence projects
3. Sustainability & Certification
- Promote sustainability through initiatives like local sourcing and supplier emission reduction programs
- Maintain knowledge of technology-related product certifications
4. Performance & KPI Achievement
- Drive procurement activities to meet company and team-level KPIs
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent discipline
- Experience in using Ariba or SAP would be an advantage
- Proficiency with MS Word & MS Excel
