Job Description

Dance Ensemble Singapore is inviting applications for the role of Senior Executive, Arts & Marketing. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to both artistic programming and organisational outreach within a dynamic arts environment.

The successful candidate will support the planning and execution of productions, marketing initiatives, and audience development efforts across DES Arts and DES School.

Key Responsibilities

Arts Operations & Project Coordination

  • Support the coordination of performances, programmes, and related activities
  • Assist in managing timelines, logistics, venue arrangements, and stakeholder coordination
  • Work closely with internal teams, artists, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth delivery

Marketing & Communications

  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including social media, website, and EDMs
  • Coordinate development of marketing materials such as posters, banners, and programme content
  • Monitor engagement metrics and support reporting requirements

Grants & Administrative Support

  • Assist in the preparation of grant applications and reports
  • Maintain proper documentation and organisational records
  • Provide general administrative support for projects and initiatives

Audience Development

  • Support outreach efforts and engagement with schools, community groups, and partners
  • Assist in audience engagement activities and follow-up communications

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Good organisational and coordination abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
  • Demonstrated interest in the arts; prior experience in an arts organisation is advantageous

Working Arrangement
  • 5-day work week, 40 hours per week
  • Weekend and Weeknight work required during performances and events
