Job Description
The Personal Lines Distribution Department focuses on individual insurance products such as Travel, Home, and Personal Accident. As a Business Development Senior Executive, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and agency channels to drive sales growth, execute impactful initiatives, and enhance advisor capabilities.
This role offers strong exposure to Personal Lines insurance and opportunities to develop leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills through regular engagement with agents, branches, and key partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and sales growth within the Agency channel
- Engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to align and execute sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents at ground level to drive desired sales behaviours and performance
- Plan, organise, and execute organisation‑wide campaigns and events, from planning through to execution
- Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, and recommend solutions
- Develop and implement channel‑specific marketing campaigns and sales initiatives to achieve business targets
- Oversee and execute sales activities to ensure consistent achievement of monthly and annual targets
- Prepare monthly sales performance reports and provide regular campaign progress updates
- Review and assess agent competencies to identify capability gaps and training needs
- Conduct monthly branch sharing sessions to communicate sales results, best practices, and key initiatives
- Deliver product trainings and sales concept selling sessions to agents
- Respond to enquiries from front‑liners and distribution channels in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and resolve complaints and feedback promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in business development within Agency and/or Financial Advisory (FA) channels preferred
- Proven track record in managing sales activities and driving sales performance
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to market challenges and evolving business needs
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Meticulous with strong execution and follow‑through capabilities
- Ability to manage and influence agents with professionalism, speed, and tact
