Role Overview:
Senior Contract Manager - The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, securing new projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive business growth through effective contract negotiation and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead contract management activities for building projects, including tendering, negotiation, and finalization of contracts.
- Maintain and leverage a strong network of contacts with consultants, clients, and industry partners to identify and secure new project opportunities.
- Review, draft, and manage commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual risks, claims, and commercial strategies to senior management.
- Monitor project performance from a commercial perspective, including variations, claims, and final account settlements.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure contract terms are executed effectively, mitigating disputes and maximizing profitability.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management with a main contractor or similar environment in the building industry.
- Strong network of industry contacts with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of clinching and managing high-value projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and dispute resolution
