Procurement Manager (Ship Chandler)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of provisions, bonded stores, and technical supplies
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality
• Coordinate with operations and logistics for on-time vessel deliveries
• Handle urgent, last-minute orders aligned with vessel schedules
• Monitor inventory levels, costs, and supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with port regulations and documentation requirements
• Liaise with ship owners, captains, and internal teams

Requirements

• 5-8 years experience in ship chandling / marine procurement
• Strong knowledge of marine supplies, vessel operations, and port logistics
• Good negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
