Senior Consultant SAP ABAP

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant SAP ABAP to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and strategic advisor, designing, developing, and optimizing SAP ABAP solutions for enterprise clients. You will leverage your extensive expertise to drive successful SAP implementations, mentor development teams, and deliver high-quality custom solutions that align with business objectives.

. Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP ABAP programs and custom solutions for enterprise resource planning systems

. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and efficient ABAP code

. Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization to ensure performance, security, and maintainability standards

. Lead SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing technical guidance and best practices

. Colla borate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions

. Develop and customize SAP modules including MM, SD, FI, HR, and other relevant areas based on client needs

. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team

. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize system downtime

. Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation approaches for future reference

. Staycurrent with SAP technologies, including Fiori, UI5, and ODATA services, and recommend innovative solutions

. Participate in knowledge management initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement

Qualifications

. 7+years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development and programming

. Advanced proficiency in ABAP language, including object-oriented programming concept sand advanced techniques

. Strong expertise in SAP ERP systems and multiple SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, or equivalent)

. Demonstrated experience with SQL, database management, and performance tuning

. Proven track record of leading SAP implementation or upgrade projects in enterprise environments

. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

. Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and ODATA services (preferred)

. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (preferred)

. Experience mentoring and developing junior technical staff (preferred)

. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams

. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards

. Organized approach to work with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
