Position Title: IT Manager
Location: Singapore (Regional Role - Asia)
Reporting To: Senior IT Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Specialist to lead and support enterprise IT infrastructure, regional systems operations, and digital enablement initiatives across multiple offices in Asia. This role will act as a key technical owner ensuring secure, scalable, and high-availability IT environments while partnering closely with business teams to drive operational efficiency and technology modernization.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on technical expertise with regional coordination experience, capable of managing both day-to-day IT operations and strategic improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems across regional offices.
- Oversee system monitoring, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with external vendors and managed service providers where required.
2. Cloud & Modern Workplace Enablement
- Administer cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, or equivalent platforms).
- Support hybrid work technologies including identity management, collaboration tools, and endpoint security.
- Drive adoption of modern workplace solutions to enhance productivity and cross-border collaboration.
3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement and maintain IT security controls aligned with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage access control, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Conduct periodic security reviews and ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulations.
4. Regional IT Support Leadership
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for complex issues across Asia offices.
- Standardize IT processes, documentation, and service delivery frameworks.
- Act as escalation point for critical technical incidents and coordinate resolution.
5. IT Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead regional IT initiatives such as infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and new office setups.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Drive automation, system integration, and efficiency improvements.
6. Vendor & Asset Management
- Manage IT procurement, licensing, and vendor relationships.
- Track IT assets, budgets, and lifecycle planning to ensure cost-effective operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5-15 years of IT experience, including regional or multi-site support environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows / Linux server environments
- Microsoft 365 / Azure (or similar cloud ecosystems)
- Network infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, switching, Wi-Fi)
- Endpoint management and security tools
- Experience supporting geographically distributed teams across Asia.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage IT projects and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Vendor management and procurement experience preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a lean environment while balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or cybersecurity credentials.
- Experience in investment, financial services, or fast-paced professional environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python), or system integration is a plus.
