The Business Development Executive is responsible to assist the Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying, securing and maintaining new clients for logistics solutions including warehousing and trucking services.
Work closely with the management and relevant parties to grow the logistics business in Southeast Asia market (particularly, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam).
Keep abreast of market trends and changes through market research, subscriptions to relevant agencies or newsletters, etc.
Assist in gathering market data and information for the development of market strategies.
Conduct in-depth research to identify new business expansion opportunities.
Assist in the implementation of the strategic initiatives and take end-to-end responsibilities for the project(s) assigned.
Prepare business development-related proposals, presentations and reports for Senior Management review.
Project manage the transactions, driving the transaction timetable, ensuring the quality of client deliverables, as well as manage counterparties to ensure transaction milestones are met.
Requirements:
Degree in logistics / business or related field.
3 - 5 years experience in business development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
