Senior Business Analyst

We are partnering with a leading investment management firm to hire a Senior Business Analyst to join a growing technology and investment platform team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a BA who enjoys building and improving systems, rather than simply managing BAU requirements. You will work closely with Middle Office, Investment and Technology teams to design scalable solutions across the investment technology environment.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with Middle Office and business stakeholders to understand complex operational processes and translate them into technology solutions.
• Map end-to-end workflows, data flows and system interactions across the investment lifecycle.
• Lead requirements gathering, functional analysis and solution design for new systems and enhancements.
• Work closely with developers, architects and IT teams throughout implementation.
• Perform detailed data mapping, define business rules and identify data dependencies across multiple platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through workflow automation and system optimisation.
• Support system integration, testing, implementation and post-production enhancements.
• Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and Technology, ensuring solutions meet both operational and technical requirements.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst within asset management, hedge funds, investment banking or financial services.
• Deep understanding of Middle Office processes and investment operations.
• Proven experience with system implementation, transformation or significant platform enhancements.
• Strong capabilities in process mapping, workflow analysis and data mapping.
• Comfortable working closely with Technology teams and understanding system integrations and data flows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage equally well with business and technical teams.
• Experience with OMS, PMS, trading, risk or investment management platforms is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to Orchestrade or similar investment technology platforms would be a plus.
