IT Business Analyst Supply Chain Financing Solutions
Summary:
The IT Business Analyst will join the Supply Chain Financing Solutions IT team to support global projects and application enhancements for the Connexis Supply Chain platform. This role involves gathering requirements, performing impact analysis, designing functional solutions, and coordinating testing activities (SIT, UAT, NRT) across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. The Business Analyst will collaborate with Product Managers, Operations users, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives, IT architecture, and security standards.
Requirements:
- Define and validate business/operational objectives for new requirements.
- Perform systematic business analysis and align requirements with business, operations, IT architecture, and security standards.
- Design functional solutions and user workflows, and document functional specifications.
- Conduct requirement and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders to obtain review and sign-off.
- Develop SIT/UAT/NRT scope and approach, guide the testing team in writing test scenarios, and review for stakeholder sign-off.
- Validate SIT test results and assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and prioritizing fixes.
- Document and review user manuals and release notes.
- Provide tactical/strategic solutions for new client requirements and support conversion/migration exercises.
- Perform functional analysis for production defects and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies and standards/practices.
- Participate in technical design reviews to enhance overall solutions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 1215 years of total experience, with 68 years as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in Trade Financing, Supply Chain Financing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, or related domains.
- Strong functional and business analysis skills, with the ability to bridge business/operations and IT.
- Experience in Supply Chain/Trade Finance/Electronic Invoicing applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with standard formats: XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022, and data transformations.
- Hands-on SQL knowledge and experience with functional solutions design for large web applications and microservices.
- Well-versed in integrations, APIs, REST, and designing solutions for high-volume, low-latency, high-availability web applications.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLC in projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of security subjects: SSL/TLS, PKI, certificates, and user authentication solutions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills in cross-cultural, cross-country environments.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to technical design reviews.
