Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
- Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business objectives and technical delivery.
- Drive discussions between business and technology teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Support solution planning, process improvements, and automation initiatives across enterprise platforms.
- Participate in system enhancement, transformation, and application delivery initiatives.
Documentation & Solution Support
- Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Ensure seamless handover of requirements to engineering and development teams.
- Support testing, UAT activities, defect clarification, and solution validation.
- Maintain documentation standards and requirements traceability throughout the SDLC.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with business users, developers, engineers, and project stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Support prioritization and scoping discussions for business requests and enhancement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement review sessions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while effectively managing expectations and communication.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Around 7–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within enterprise environments.
- Strong experience within:
- Private Equity
- Wealth Management
- Financial Services / BFSI environments
- Proven experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Strong understanding of business processes, enterprise applications, and systems implementation projects.
- Good understanding of SDLC, requirements management, and business process analysis.
SQL Knowledge Requirements
Candidates should have working knowledge of SQL, including:
- Data retrieval, filtering, sorting, and grouping using: SELECT, WHERE, ORDER BY, GROUP BY
- Aggregate functions such as: COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN / MAX
- JOIN operations: INNER JOIN, LEFT / RIGHT JOIN, FULL JOIN
- Basic data manipulation: INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE
- Understanding of basic database concepts, data types, constraints, and NULL handling.
Preferred / Advantage
- Experience supporting enterprise or business application development initiatives.
- Exposure to automation, digital transformation, or workflow optimization projects.
- Understanding of design thinking and systems thinking methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise platforms.
- Exposure to financial data platforms, investment systems, or wealth management applications.
