We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior BIM Modeller cum Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in BIM modelling and drafting for construction projects, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for structural and/or marine construction projects
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and technical issues
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
- Conduct clash detection and assist in coordination meetings
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior drafters
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling and drafting
- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools
- Strong understanding of construction methods, particularly in marine or infrastructure projects (preferred)
- Good knowledge of local authority requirements and standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marine works, piling, or precast construction
- Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and clash detection processes
