BMS Engineering Coordinator / BMS Admin Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our engineering team in handling Building Management System (BMS) documentation, coordination, and administrative tasks. This role ensures all project paperwork is properly prepared, tracked, and submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in preparing and compiling BMS documentation: Method Statements (MS)Risk Assessments (RA)Shop Drawings O&M Manuals Testing & Commissioning (T&C) reports
- Maintain proper filing and document control (softcopy & hardcopy)
- Track submission status and follow up with engineers, consultants, and clients
- Prepare daily/weekly project reports and progress updates
- Liaise with site team, subcontractors, and suppliers for document collection
- Ensure all documents comply with project and authority requirements
- Support tender documentation and project handover documents
- Handle basic coordination with clients for submission approvals
- Assist in any ad-hoc administrative duties assigned by engineers or project manager
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Building Services, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in BMS / construction / engineering admin is an advantage
- Familiar with BMS systems (e.g., HVAC control, SCADA, PLC) is a plus
- Good knowledge of documentation processes in construction projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with AutoCAD or document management systems is a bonus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
