Senior BIM Modeller/BIM Coordinator

Job Description

• To set up the Template for Electrical Model and is assigned for the Management of the Model

• Support BIM Manager to implement IDDEP for the assigned project. Execute BIM implementation.

• Manage and coordinate project BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM deliverables.

• Coordinate BIM workflows and processes across all project disciplines.

• Manage and maintain the central BIM model, ensuring version control and data integrity.

• Conduct and lead regular VDC meeting with the participation of stakeholders for BIM model reviews to identify and resolve coordination challenges.

• Prepare and deliver BIM deliverables, such as BIM models, clash reports, assetdata, 3D visualizations, etc.

• Track and report on BIM progress, submission status, identify and highlight potential issues.

• Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage to identify conflicts and coordinate resolutions.

• Work closely with Senior/ Design Engineers to develop the 3D BIM Model for Coordination and Collaboration

• Carry out works scheduling, materials requisition responsibilities and to liaise with Consultants/Main Con to ensure full compliance

• Coordinate and support the design team to effectively deliver design deliverables which have been reviewed for procurement and build-ability

• Prepare and Plan the BIM Submission Schedule and Shop drawing Submissions

• Attend all Project Coordination meeting with Main Contractors and other Contractors with regards with BIM

• Guide, Mentor and Assign BIM Modellers to deliver the proper BIM drawings in timely manner.

• Coordinate the software requirements, share information among the team members, monitor and push the progress

• Maintain and manage the integrity of Electrical BIM Model

• Lead Technical BIM Team in its documentation and analysis efforts

• Maintain models in the file exchange server and know how to use other BIM Authoring and Coordination Tools

• Prepare model for review and clash detection

• Creating and developing the Electrical Family as per the parameter depending on Specialities of Equipment's and materials

• In charge of the Clash Detection for A&S and reports and presentations

• Make sure all Construction /Shop drawings shall be prepared and submitted on schedule.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Technical Diploma holder in Architectural / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil or Building.

• Certificate for Revit MEP course with 3-5 years experience in BIM

• Certificate in Specialist Diploma in BIM or related

• Certificate in Specialist Diploma in VDC or related

• Certificate for BIM Management

• Certificate or Knowledge in Navisworks

• With at least 5 years experience in BIM

• With at least 5 years work experience in Constriction

• Relevant drafting/modelling/managing BIM Team and Engineering experience in Construction

• MS Office software

• Knowledgeable in BIM software

• Experience in Using ACC /Forma

• Good communication skill and Team Workmanship

• Good knowledge of Construction detailing

• Ability to understand technical concepts and visually communicate those effectively

• Experience and Familiarity with M&E Services

• Proficiency in BIM and VDC software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, ACC, etc.) and understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction principles.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
