We are looking for a Senior Barista / Front of House professional to lead our restaurant and uphold our standards of quality, warmth, and consistency.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for delivering excellent coffee and front-of-house experiences while supporting team development and smooth daily operations. This role requires strong barista expertise, leadership by example, and genuine care for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Front of House

. Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude

. Take orders accurately and process payments via POS system

. Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations

. Handle customer feedback and resolve minor issues calmly

Barista & Beverage Preparation

. Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and specialty beverages to AMGD standards

. Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all drinks

. Maintain cleanliness of coffee machine, bar area, and equipment

. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform supervisor of low inventory

Operations & Hygiene

. Maintain overall cleanliness of front-of-house, including tables, counters, and dining

area

. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

. Support opening and closing duties (setting up / cleaning / restocking)

. Work closely with kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations

Inclusivity & Ambassadorship

. Support AMGD's mission of inclusivity at Enabling Village

. Provide respectful and patient service to guests from all backgrounds and abilities

. Be a positive ambassador for the AMGD brand and values

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional barista experience and in F&B

• Strong technical skills in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage preparation

• Confident in front-of-house operations and customer engagement

• Able to guide, train, and support junior baristas

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment

• Lead front-of-house service and ensure smooth daily operations

• Deliver warm, professional, and inclusive customer service

• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards

• Support training and development of barista and service crew
