Sap Materials Management Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong EDI/IDOC expertise to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM processes while ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas such as Sales and Finance.

12 months contract

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and support SAP MM module including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics processes.

Design, develop, and troubleshoot EDI/IDOC interfaces for seamless data exchange with external systems and partners.

Collaborate with functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate MM integration.

Manage incident handling, root cause analysis, and issue resolution related to Procure-to-pay processes.

Support end-to-end testing, UAT, and defect resolution for P2P scenarios.

Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to business users and team members.

Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transition projects if required.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant.

Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Logistics execution processes.

Strong expertise in 3PL processes and integration through EDI/IDOC.

Implementation experience in a complex, and highly customised S/4HANA environment

Proven experience in EDI/IDOC design, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with integration between MM and other modules (SD, FI, WM, PP).

Experience with testing tools (HP ALM, JIRA, Solution Manager, etc.).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of third-party middleware integration for EDI (Seeburger, PI/PO, etc.).

Hands-on ABAP debugging skills for IDOC error resolution.
