Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Operations Management
- Supervise daily shop operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving monthly sales targets.
- Assist in pricing, promotions, and product display strategies.
- Handle POS system, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
2. Team Supervision
- Lead, train, and supervise sales assistants and retail staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance.
- Motivate team members to improve productivity and service standards.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new employees.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Build and maintain relationships with regular customers and wholesale clients.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with suppliers.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness and reduce wastage.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Oversee proper storage and handling of fruits.
5. Merchandising & Display
- Ensure fruits are displayed attractively and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop.
- Implement promotional displays to boost sales.
6. Compliance & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in Singapore.
- Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily/weekly sales and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with management on sales performance and business improvements.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics team for deliveries.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail or fruits/food industry.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and POS systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
