Job Description

Our client - A global medical device leader with a diversified, best-in class portfolio trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide. They are recruiting a Sales Manager
to drive growth for one of their key strategic portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Performance
Plan, manage, and consistently exceed primary and secondary sales targets
Track individual and team KPIs aligned with overall business objectives
Provide case support and engage in pre- and post case discussions with healthcare professionals
Prepare quotations, manage purchase orders, and oversee billing and product usage
Participate in tenders, including document preparation and compliance with tender specifications
Analyse sales data and deliver timely sales and monthly performance reports
Marketing & Market Development
Organise and participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer or distributor events
Lead new product launches and execute marketing plans for existing portfolios
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Develop marketing collaterals, presentations, and promotional materials
Coordinate and communicate with regional/global stakeholders and business partners
Product Management
Develop deep knowledge of assigned product portfolio, positioning, and market segments
Gather customer feedback and address product or service issues effectively
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong product and technical support
People & Sales Operations Management
Lead and coach the sales team through training, in-service sessions, and field visits
Provide performance feedback, guidance, and ongoing sales coaching
Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, inventory planning, reporting and presentations
Manage consignment business, ensuring stock accuracy, rotation, and minimal wastage
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders
Expand networks beyond healthcare practitioners, including decision-makers and influencers
Establish and strengthen Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with customer service, logistics, regulatory, quality, finance, and HR teams
Ensure full compliance with applicable industry codes, regulations, and internal policies
Support audits, product recalls, safety actions, and regulatory requirements where applicable
General
Participate in company meetings, events, and initiatives
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

The ideal candidate

10+ years experience in medical devices sales, ideally in cardiology related products
Sales leadership and/or coaching experience highly preferred
Relevant clinical or life sciences qualification advantageous
Strong commercial skills including financial modelling, contract negotiation, and forecasting
Deep understanding of value-based healthcare and healthcare industry trends
Able to thrive in complex, matrixed environments
Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
