Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and architectural sectors, focusing on builders, developers, and other industry professionals.
- Promote and sell our range of aluminium products and services, including:
- Architectural Metalwork: Metal panels, cladding systems, and custom metalwork for building facades.
- Pressed Metal Panels: Decorative and functional panels for ceilings, walls, and partitions.
- Metal Screens and Grilles: For ventilation, privacy, and decorative purposes.
- Aluminium and Stainless Steel Products: Includes staircases, balustrades, and other structural elements.
- Steel Structures: Fabrication of steel beams, columns, and other structural components.
- Aluminium Windows and Doors: Various types of aluminium windows and doors for residential and commercial applications.
- Custom Fabrication: Tailored metal solutions, including bespoke designs and assemblies.
- Architectural Metalworks: Solutions for facades, curtain walls, and decorative metalworks.
- Metal Pressing Services: Custom pressed metal components using stamping, punching, and bending techniques.
- Coating Services: Powder coating, fluorocarbon (PVDF) coating, and timber coating for enhanced durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Trading of Metal Construction Materials: Supply of metal sheets, plates, aluminium extrusions, and metal fasteners and fittings.
2.Client Engagement:
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to effectively showcase the benefits and applications of our aluminium products and services.
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities to expand the client base.
3. Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide valuable feedback to management on market conditions, client preferences, and potential areas for expanding our offerings.
4. Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services that meet client specifications.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional strategies and materials.
5. Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
- Analyse sales metrics to ensure targets are met and identify opportunities for improvement.
6.Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience in the aluminium facade, construction, or metal fabrication industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of aluminium products and services, including windows and doors, architectural metalworks, custom fabrication, coating services, and design and prototyping.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar industry.
- Network: Existing connections within the construction and architectural sectors is advantageous.
- Education: A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
7.Other Requirements:
- Basic salary
- Commission structure based on sales and can achieve $6K to $8K
- Prior experience in home renovation sales preferred
- Possess own transport will be advantageous
