Responsibilities:
a) Sales and business development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by targeting potential customer.
- Increase company's client base by actively seeking new leads through cold calling, networking, and industry research.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
b) Client and project management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand specific project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as production, warehouse, and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and on-time delivery.
- Provide after-sales support and professionally address any client inquiries or complaints.
c) Commercial and technical expertise
- Prepare cost sheets and sales quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and close deals.
- Advise customers on product specifications, usage, and installation, leveraging a strong understanding of aluminium materials and applications.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry.
d) Reporting and administration
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and project status.
- Prepare regular sales reports, performance updates, and forecasts for management.
- Assist with the collection of payments from clients.
Requirement:
- A diploma or degree in marketing, engineering is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with typically 2-5 years of sales experience in the raw material or metal fabrication industry.
- Existing network and connections within the construction and architectural sectors are often advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to build and maintain trust with clients.
- Aptitude for addressing client challenges and providing effective, technical-based solutions.
- Self-motivated and persistent with the drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Deep understanding of aluminum alloys, including fabrication, and applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- A valid driver's license.
