Job Purpose
The job incumbent will be responsible for driving the sales performance of the Singapore Red Cross Academy's range of courses and training programmes to corporate clients, government agencies, educational institutions, and the general public. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for humanitarian work and a proven track record in achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed course enrolment and revenue targets for SRCA.
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets for SRCA's training offerings, particularly within the corporate and institutional sectors.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and tender submissions to potential clients.
2. Client Relationship Management (CRM):
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate accounts and institutional partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for large-scale training enquiries and customised corporate training solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and secure repeat business and referrals.
3. Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for management, detailing performance against targets and key metrics.
- Work closely with the Operations and Marketing teams to ensure seamless course delivery and effective promotional campaigns.
4. Product Knowledge and Advocacy:
- Maintain a deep understanding of all SRCA courses, accreditations (e.g., SRFAC, MOM), and subsidy schemes (e.g., SkillsFuture).
- Act as an ambassador for the Singapore Red Cross humanitarian mission and the value of its training programmes.
5. Team Collaboration (if applicable to team structure):
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales or account management staff, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Development team to communicate market needs and client feedback for continuous course improvement.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience. Experience in the training and education sector is a plus.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand client training needs.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Singapore's training landscape, including government grants and accreditation bodies, is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative, self-motivation, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
