The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting the hotel and, where applicable, other properties within the chain in their designated area or region.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the hotel and, where applicable, other chain properties within the assigned area or region
- Achieve hotel budget and individual KPIs, including room targets, meeting room targets, ADR, and occupancy
- Conduct strategic visits to former, existing, and potential clients, focusing on securing commercial contracts
- Analyze and forecast business volume considering hotel occupancy, holidays, weather, events, and local activities
- Define guest requirements and ensure offered services align with client expectations
- Maintain and update company, client, and contact information in the Anais PMS
- Gather and share competitor insights with superiors and team members
- Negotiate rates with clients, formalize proposals in writing, and provide exemplary after-sales service
- Conduct site inspections and maintain professional client engagement to ensure satisfaction
- Support team goals, demonstrate adaptability, and contribute to the hotel's competitive success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the same capacity
- Proven ability to build relationships and find new business: prospecting, networking, site inspections, and sales calls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with all staff
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and juggle many tasks simultaneously
