Exciting Opportunity: Catering Sales Executive

As a Catering Sales Executive, you will be the driving force behind memorable experiences-from intimate celebrations to large-scale conferences.

About the Role:

Catering Sales Executive

The Catering and Conference Services Department plays a vital role in driving business and revenue for the hotel. This team is responsible for coordinating a wide range of events - from intimate gatherings and corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and banquet. The incumbent supports this goal largely through proactive sales and relationship building, complemented by sales execution and key administrative support for both catering corporate and social clients.

What you will do:

  1. Drive New Business - Cultivate new corporate and social catering accounts through prospecting, networking, and hosting site inspections.
  2. Own the Client Journey - Manage inquiries, proposals, contracts, and bookings with prompt follow-up and impeccable service.
  3. Provide Key Administrative Support - Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations with precision maintain organized and up-to-date files and assist with special sales projects or campaigns.
  4. Collaborate for Perfection - Partner with operations and front-of-house teams to deliver flawless events and exceptional guest experiences.
  5. Stay Ahead of the Market - Monitor market activities, generate sales reports, and share insights to keep our strategy sharp.

What You Bring:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Preferably, 2 years of catering sales administrative experience in a luxury brand.
  • A proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple accounts in a detailed manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively is key

Schedule & Hours: This position requires one to work from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm with flexibility in scheduling (i.e. the ability to work on weekends and festive holidays, subject to work exigencies).
