Your Role And Responsibilities


In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Distribution Solution under ABB Electrification business for Singapore. Main stakeholders are Tech Pro, Project Management, product, and marketing team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Developing and executing market strategies based on market intelligence and trends in Singapore, identifying growth areas, building project pipelines, and driving demand creation in collaboration with consultants and EPCs.
  • Driving end-to-end sales execution, including identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Preparing and managing technical and commercial offers in line with customer specifications, ensuring accurate pricing, contract terms, and compliance with ABB risk review and governance processes.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess business performance, support portfolio development, and maintain accurate sales reporting and forecasting using Salesforce and other tools.

Qualifications For The Role


  • You hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • You have 2–5 years of experience in engineering or technical sales within the electrification or power distribution industry, with exposure to products such as switchgear, switchboards, or circuit breakers.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems and their applications across utilities, industrial, or infrastructure segments.
  • You are experienced in developing customer relationships and driving sales with end-users, EPCs, and M&E consultants, with the ability to identify and penetrate new business opportunities. You possess good commercial and technical skills, including the ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer specifications.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with experience using CRM and reporting platforms such as Salesforce or Power BI preferred.
  • You are proficient in English and Mandarin, with strong ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with Mandarin-speaking customers and channel partners.
